A deep green rock in the middle of the sea is the trademark of Corfu. The legendary Mouse Island (Pontikonisi) is 4km away from the city of Corfu and owes its name to its tiny size. You can access the Mouse Island (Pontikonisi) only during summer by boat from Kanoni.
Kanoni owes its name to a canon which was put there by the French in 1798 and is still there. It is a beautiful and panoramic location where you can enjoy a view to the church of Panagia Vlachernon, the Mouse Island (Pontikonisi) and to the surrounding area.
