Reservations – cancellation Policy

BOOKING POLICIES
Odysseus Hotel will require a valid credit card to guarantee a single room reservation or multiple rooms reservation. Please be advised the request for credit card details is to guarantee a hotel booking.
Odysseus Hotel will preauthorize – via Bank – the first night room rate and taxes on the provided credit card to determine the validity of the said credit card. All hotel rooms booked with a valid credit card are guaranteed.
Any hotel rooms booked with an invalid credit card are subject to immediate cancellation.
The provided credit card should be valid until the day of departure from the hotel.

 

You are required to present the card used at time of booking to the hotel on check-in. If you are not able to present the card used at the time of booking then your booking details and pre-payment are not considered valid and an alternative payment method will be required.  The original card used at time of booking will be refunded. Please note that on check-in a pre-authorization from a credit or debit card is required. This pre-authorization holds an amount on your card without debiting your card. It should be noted that these funds can take up until 7 to 14 days to be released back into your account depending on your particular bank or building society’s policy.
If the card holder is not going to be present at check-in, we will need you to send a confirmation letter from your company / person / owner of the card authorizing us to take payment for the booking made.

METHODS OF PAYMENT

During the reservation procedure you are able to book and pay for your reservation using the following methods:

    1. Secure direct payment via bank Payments using your credit/debit card.
    2. Offline bank transfer.

You will be able to make an online reservation and transfer the reservation amount to the hotel bank account within 48h in order to confirm your reservation.

  1. If you do wish to pay in cash, we would ask you for a deposit.

FLEXIBLE RATE
The Bank will automatically preauthorize the first night room rate and taxes on the provided credit card to determine the validity of the said credit card.
Automatically after the lapse of 7 to 14 days the bank will proceed to cancel the preauthorization.
No deposit will be charged.

 

NON REFUNDABLE RATE
Payment of the hotel reservation will be completed during the time of the online reservation.
This special discounted rate is non-refundable. If you choose to change or cancel this booking you will not be refunded any amount of the payment.
The total price of the reservation will be charged automatically from the bank after booking.

If you need to change the date of arrival, the date of departure or for changes in the room category, room requirement(s), and/or other, please contact the Hotel via email as soon as possible.

Reservations can be cancelled or amended free of charge up to 21 days before the date of arrival.

Any type of extra bed or baby cot is upon request and needs to be confirmed by the hotel.

  • All older children are charged 20€ per night per person for extra beds.
  • Maximum capacity of extra beds / baby cots in a room is one.

Pets: Are not allowed

No smoking is allowed inside the Hotel’s public areas and rooms.

Should any action by a guest be deemed inappropriate by the hotel, or if any inappropriate behaviour is brought to the attention of the hotel, the hotel reserves the right, after the allegations have been investigated, to take action against the guest.

Free Parking is available to hotel guests on site (Reservation is not needed).
